The User Acquisition team plays a crucial role in this vision, and they are currently seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to join their team. As the Senior Backend Developer, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into their tech stack and make a significant impact through hands-on development. However, your influence won't stop at code. You will also play a vital role in guiding the team, ensuring timely deliveries, and mentoring the next generation of developers in the company's small yet mighty team.
What You Will Be Doing
Acting as the technical lead, aligning approaches with peer engineers, infrastructural needs with platform engineers, and feasibility risks with the product manager.
Working as a backend developer, creating stable, reliable, and maintainable backend APIs.
Improving engineering practices through cross-team collaboration, pair programming, and code reviews.
Collaborating with the Product Manager on user insights to create impactful solutions.
Ensuring consistent delivery velocity through agile and DevOps practices.
Assisting in the coordination of project delivery timelines within the team and across other teams.
Supporting and guiding fellow peer engineers with your advanced technical knowledge.
What the Company is Looking For
6+ years of experience developing web applications in mid- or large-scale production systems, using major programming languages.
First-hand experience as a technical lead or delivery manager.
Proficiency in developing web applications using Node.js.
Enthusiasm for coding in TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in relational databases like MySQL or Postgres.
Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
Familiarity with microservice architecture.
